The sound of the rain hitting the skylight window is calming somehow for me! The wind howling too but not too much of course! The soothing kind of wind you know the sound.
winter is my favourite time of year, people think I’m strange for that but I blame been ginger, I’m not too Keen on the sun or heat it’s a struggling time! š. (My dog Alfie on the other hand hates it mind! Poor guy! He’s a big softy! On all counts!) Unless it turns into a storm then the dog and I are under the covers together willing it to be over!
Over all it helps me sleep at night, dog beside me with his head on the pillow (but of course facing me with dog breath!) “pitter patter pitter patter” and off I drift into a deep sleep.
